Beauty and the Beast, The UK’s Toughest Trail Running Challenge

Brief

Leading sportswear brand, Helly Hansen, were seeking to promote a new range of training apparel to the trail running community. We created a made-for-television off-road marathon event with a twist. Several in fact. A hugely challenging, multi lap format in one of the UK’s most stunning locations, allowed for solo and team entries across half-marathon and marathon options and ensured repeat visits throughout the event to a special Helly Hansen experiential zone.

We also brought our creative flair to developing a dedicated event website and eye-catching event logo.

 

Outcome

The event received worldwide TV coverage. On the day itself Helly Hansen was able to attract an extensive array of media guests to take part in the event and put their new apparel and footwear through the sternest and most authentic of wear tests.  One of the most rewarding and unique running experiences in the calendar.
