HellRider: An eight-hour team duathlon of devilish proportions!

Brief

Harnessing the popularity of both trail running and mountain biking, our HellRider event added an exciting news angle for duathletes. Entry options for solos, pairs and teams of 5 with everyone tasked with completing as many laps as possible inside 8 hours!

Separate 5km run and 8km mtb loops both started and finished at our bouncing event hub. A river crossing became the Bath of Beelzebub, a hill climb The Teeth of Cerberus.

With music and food available back at base the atmosphere was truly rockin’. Chilli hot in all respects!

Outcome

This exciting new event concept soon captured the attention of premium outdoor brand, Columbia, who became title sponsors and who were able to use the event to entertain media and retail partners.
